The issues and impact of abuse, family violence and addictions are complex and far reaching into every community – both secular and religious.
In churches throughout East Texas and America, there are men and women who struggle with these issues.Too many remain hidden behind fear and shame, with no opportunity to work through their struggles.
Outside the church, there are many resources for those who struggle.Yet most of these resources are without a spiritual foundation of hope and strength for endurance. We believe this foundation is a personal, interactive relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
We must be willing to be open and honest about our addictions; acknowledge our pain, problems and struggles, and learn what it means to truly heal and grow in community.
We believe the road to healing and recovery must reach across each of these areas – leaving no gaps – in addressing the wounds and needs of the whole person.
